Care

Try not to store any gun in a leather holster, mainly because you want air to circulate around the gun to avoid rust.
Avoid getting our leather products soaking wet. If the leather does become soaked, allow it to air dry naturally. Never use a heat source such as a hair dryer, an oven, etc. to dry.
Silicone spray or a wax based product such as "sno-seal" will help make it water resistant and protect it from the elements. Don't use any oil based products such as mink oil or neats foot oil on our leather holsters as this will soften and misshape them.
To clean our leather products, us a moist sponge with a mild soap and wipe dry.
Avoid direct sunlight for extended periods of time (auto dashboards, etc.)

Construction

All of the leather goods we produce are made from premium domestic hides. Although there's a lot of good leather coming from over seas, and even south of the border, it's our opinion that the US still produces the best leather for building holsters. The bulk of the leather we use comes from the Wickett & Craig tannery, which produces very fine leathers.

When we build a product such as a belt or holster, everything that has to be attached or laminated is first glued using "Barge Cement" which is an incredibly strong contact adhesive. It's than stitched using 346 bonded nylon thread top and bottom. This makes for an extremely strong connection.

The hardware we use such as screws and buckles is all solid brass or plated solid brass, not cheap zinc or pot metal.
Our dyed holsters and belts are dyed by hand using "Fiebing's Professional Oil Dye", not factory pre-dyed leather.
